We invite you to join the Trust in offering children, youth and adults from formerly disadvantaged communities the opportunity to participate in our Horses Helping People programmes. 



These programmes aim to heal and empower people to imagine and reach for a world beyond the confines of the daily grind of poverty.

Anyone wishing to make a contribution to our Shumbashaba Horses Helping People programmes and/or leave a legacy for future generations may like to consider donating/bequeathing money to the Shumbashaba Community Trust. Benefits to you include:

  1. Donations are tax deductible in the hands of the donors in terms of Section 18A of the Income Tax Act; this provides for a tax deduction of donation amounts of up to 10% of taxable income
  2. Bequests are exempt from Estate Duty in terms of section 4(h) of the Estate Duty Act No.45 of 1955
  3. Shumbashaba Community Trust is a Level 4 B-BBEE contributor

Furthermore, donations to the Trust are exempt from donations tax in terms of section 56(1)(h) of th Income Tax Act.
